Famous Russian playwright Anton Chekhov needs no introduction in the world of theatre ,one of the most prominent figures who introduced modernism in theatre. His last play "The Cherry Orchard" is one of his masterpiece creations written in 1903. Cherry orchard revolves around human nature and social change , Chekhov has very beautifully portrayed Russian culture via different shades of tragedy , comedy , grief , sorrow etc. .

Checkov`s mastery at abstract art is reflected throughout the play. Way he weaves changing social relations with changing time among different sects of a society and their overall impact is impeccable.
