Shoonya theatre group based out of Delhi was founded in year 2015 and since then has been working actively in field of theatre

Shoonya theatre group is led by Dr. Rama Yadav, presently professor of Hindi at Miranda House college, Delhi University,Ph.D. scholar in theatre from Delhi University ,2 yrs. Diploma certification from SRC has represented India as Hindi Chair in Budapest (Hungary) under cultural exchange program, ICCR for 2 years . She staged performances of “Meerabai” at different important stages , and has been working with  renowned theatre personality Sh. Bhanu Bharti since the beginning of her theatre career (20 years), worked as an actor and assisted him in various major productions. She has been associated with all India radio since 1997. Playwright of the plays Kasturba K. Gandhi, Is Sheher Jise Kehte HaiDelhi -Mein Ek Darvesh Rehta Tha “Mirza Ghalib”,  and Punashya Krishna Prasang. Author of “Tumhare Liye”, a collection of poetry.

 

Shoonya was founded in 2016, and since then has been working actively in the field of theatre, training theatre artists without any fees. Over the years, Shoonya has established a strong repertory of over 25 artists who have been associated with Shoonya for more than a decade.
